This standard through girder bridge is the northern trail bridge in the town of Deadwood.
Built in 1910 as a railroad bridge, the bridge was converted to trail use when the railroad was abandoned.
Constructed for double tracks, the bridge served one track of Chicago & North Western branch line, as well as one track of CB&Q branch line.
Carrying the George S Mickelson Trail, the bridge features a single heavily skewed through girder span and rests on concrete abutments.
Overall, the bridge remains in good condition.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
The photo above is an overview. The bridge is easily accessed from the trail it carries.
